Getting behind the wheel of your car for the first time after passing your test is exciting. But you need to pick out a car before you can do that.

The first thing to decide upon is whether you’re going to drive a new car or a used car. There are obvious budgetary concerns that you should take into consideration. You can’t buy a new car unless you have the money to do it. But even if you do have the money, is new necessarily better than used?
Well, I’d argue that used cars are always the best option when it comes to finding a car as a first-time car buyer. There are all kinds of things that can go wrong when you get on the road for the first few months after passing your test. And your new car can be upgraded in the future.
